The Loft is Monumental Sports & Entertainment’s new 128,000 sf, three-level (+ rooftop) headquarters adjacent to Capital One Arena, bringing previously dispersed teams together under one roof while creating a premier workplace for the people behind MSE’s sports, media, and entertainment experiences. At the heart of the workplace, a three-story skylit atrium transforms a previously enclosed center-block office into a vibrant gathering hub, connecting teams across three levels through bridges, a cantilevered communicating stair, collaboration spaces, and an abundance of strategically placed amenities. An integrated amphitheater and three-story digital video wall provide a flexible setting for meetings, watch parties, presentations, and special events. More than 400 offices and workstations are balanced with employee-focused amenities including a golf simulator, wellness lounges, walking track, monkey bar hangout, technology bar, rooftop lounge and garden, and informal collaboration spaces. Sustainable design and occupant well-being are supported through expanded daylighting, green roofs, low-emitting materials, efficient systems, and other LEED-focused strategies. Sports memorabilia, archival collections, Harry Benson photography, custom features, and artwork connect the workplace to MSE’s teams, history, and Washington, DC. With approximately 500 employees coming downtown each workday, The Loft also contributes to MSE’s vision for a more connected and activated downtown.
