The LEED Gold Entertainment and Sports Arena (ESA) is the home of the Washington Mystics and serves as the first WNBA-dedicated facility in the league as well as a state-of-the-art training center for the Washington Wizards and their new G League franchise. The 33,000 sf training facility is situated in a distinct space within the greater arena and designed as a best-in-class facility that offers amenities inclusive of sports training to meet NBA standards and drive future recruitment opportunities. Basketball programming includes two practice courts, a kitchen, and specialized training components such as cryotherapy and hydrotherapy as well as hospitality-like environments to encourage pre- and post-training camaraderie, respite, and recovery.
