Culpeper Regional Hospital Medical Imaging Addition; Culpeper, VA

The addition provides 4,200 square feet of new medical imaging modalities including a 1.5 tesla MRI and accommodations for a new spiral CT scanner. The addition will serve both outpatient and inpatient clients and provides access for both groups. To speed along the project delivery process, CRH has entered into a contract with a modular building vendor to provide 5 modules of varying sizes to compose the new addition. The modules come complete with the radio frequency shielding for the magnetic imager. Anticipated completion date is September 2008.

Culpeper Regional Hospital Operating Room Suite Improvements, Culpeper, VA
CRH is embarking on improving the overall efficiency of the operating room suite and improved infection control measures that includes a complete upgrading of the sterile processing area. While doing work with the sterile suite, CRH will be adding patient dressing and locker room facilities for their outpatients as well as an isolation room for Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) patients. Anticipated completion date is July 2008.

Fairfax County Health Department; Fairfax City, VA
Architecture Inc. has just completed construction documents for the relocation of Fairfax County's main health testing lab. This health lab will be converted into new space located in a former elementary school. This lab will perform a wide variety of testing services for the citizens of Fairfax.

Culpeper Hospital; Culpeper, VA
Architecture, Inc. has entered into a multi-project, long-term relationship with Culpeper Hospital to assist them with the implementation of their 10 year growth plan. Specific renovation and new addition projects have been identified and divided into near, mid, and long term categories in an effort to keep the hospital in line with the changing demographics of the county to ensure they are serving the community.

Fort Detrick Steam Sterilization Plant; Frederick, MD
Architecture, Inc. is in the final stage on the construction documents in preparation to competitively bid a steam sterilization plant for the new Fort Detrick Bio-Hazard Defense Campus in Frederick, MD for the Army Corps of Engineers. The project extends more than 3 stories below ground which will ensure that all research materials are rendered safe prior to entering the public waste and processing system.

Anchor Health Centers; South Naples, FL
Construction will begin soon on a new medical office building south of Naples, FL, which will be home to Anchor Health Centers, and will be conveniently located across from the new Collier Regional Medical Center. The new 15,000 square foot facility will offer medical offices and imaging suites to meet a variety of needs. The project will be under construction in early 2007.
