A seven-story parking garage at a shopping mall in Arlington, Virginia,
provided the base on which to construct a pair of rooftop ice-skating
rinks—known collectively as the Kettler Capitals Iceplex—that will serve
both the public and the Washington Capitals, the National Hockey League
